Can't make this one too long

Hi everyone!

Glad to hear your comments as always. I'm supposed to meet my friend in about 2 minutes so I have to make this really brief.

Just wanted to say yay! I'll be home soon. Ya, I'll definitely miss some things about France . . . other things not so much. Really looking forward to coming home. I don't know how much I'm going to update over the next few days. I'm going to be pretty busy with good bye parties and the like so this may be my last update before I get back.

Hope you're all having a great time in Toronto (and elsewhere) despite the rain. I'll see you soon.

  • It's been threatening rain all day/week, but hasn't yet. Stop hogging all the nice weather. How am I going to swim with weather like this?!

  • I am so proud you haven't forgotten your roots.I agree with yoy that without rice in my system, I feel like a rotten "bok choy".For sure ANAK,there will be R-I-C-E!
I will be having my two weeks off from work, which is a great time to catch up with my being close to you and Dad and Leah though Leah has her own life now. I miss those days...
Oh well, as we count down the days , too much anxiety grips your MOM.
    LOVE ALWAYS, MOM

  • Hi Caty: You will soon be home and time has gone so quickly. Do hope you accomplished your aim in your studies. I will probably hear the celebrations in Edmonton when your plane lands in Toronto. Enjoy the remainder of your time. It will be a memory very soon. Love Aunt Rita

  • First off, thank you so much for indulging me and sending me two postcards from your trip. Received them today (Thursday) and you should have seen the smile on my face when I found your envelope in my mailbox.

I can't believe that in a matter of two short days, you are back here in Toronto. Certainly, one month had gone by so quickly but I'm sure you are walking away from this wonderful trip of yours with a renewed sense of yourself and a different perspective. France now has a soft spot in you.

Well, Toronto has been in a heatwave for the last few days now and not to sound like a pampered brat, but I don't like the heat. It slows me down and even my usual evening walk had been put aside. I suppose it is not really the heat the bothers me but it is the humidity and the thick air out there.

Anyway, do enjoy your remaining days and evenings there and I guess there's going to be lots of going away gigs for you and your friends and associates there.

Have a wonderful trip on Sunday and looking forward to seeing you soon and of course, the truckload of photos you had captured.

Ciao, Caty and see you back here in Toronto. Your mom is beside herself with anticipation.
